Hello Commissioners!

Online rechartering started 11/2 and runs through 12/15, when charters are due.   Please start now calling all your unit leaders to get everyone going.  We will be posting each District's progress!  Please record your visit as you help your units.  

As always, you can find commissioner helps on the National Commissioner website at (www.Scouting.org/commissioners) and from other resources listed on the resources page.  Thank you for your service to the scouts and council, I know how valuable your time is!  Please make sure your new Unit Commissioners are registered as commissioners - primary.

Let's get ready for school and recruiting! 

 A number of valuable additions have been made to the national website-  Please visit it on a regular basis:

1.)             The online edition of The Commissioner Newsletter is now posted in the Newsletter area.  This edition spotlights the Regional Commissioners, the new Commissioner Service Task Force, the Unit Visit Tracking System, and other resources. 

2.)             The Unit Visit Tracking System tab features a new orientation video produced by our friends in the technical services area.  The video provides an overview to the UVTS system.  You should also be aware that a number of technical upgrades have already been made to the system far ahead of schedule.  It operates much faster and already has in place some additional features requested by the field.   Here is a shortcut to the video:  www.scouting.org/scoutsource/Commissioners/UnitVisitTrackingSystem/overviewvideo.aspx
